Michael Travis to Moderate WPI Venture Forum Meeting
“The Right Team at the Right Stage”
Michael Travis, Principal of executive search firm Travis & Company, will co-moderate the March 10, 2009 meeting of the WPI Venture Forum. Travis will be joined by Co-Moderator Shelley Dropkin, President of Dropkin Consulting.
The meeting, entitled "The Right Team at the Right Stage", will feature an interactive panel discussion on the issues facing entrepreneurs as they build start-up teams in today's challenging economic climate. The Panel includes John L. Brooks III of Healthcare Capital Consulting; Larry Jasinski, President & CEO of Soteira, Inc., a venture-capital backed start-up developing minimally invasive tools for spinal surgery; and Maureen Tarca, Director of Human Resources at Cynosure, a leading developer of systems for aesthetic medicine. Together, they will speak to the challenges of building high-performance teams from the perspective of a venture capitalist, an entrepreneur, and a human resources executive.
The evening's Case Study will be presented by John Bojanowski, Founder & CEO of Motus Medical. Motus Medical is developing products for physical therapy, rehabilitation and patient monitoring using 3D wireless motion capture technology.

The WPI Venture Forum meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at the Campus Center - Odeum Room, on the WPI campus in Worcester, MA.
